For some of you, it might be tackling Hyrox, a triathlon or a marathon. For others, it might be something a bit more daunting, like an ultra-marathon. The key is to start small, but not too small. You want to be challenged, but not overwhelmed.
So, where do you start? Take a look at your mates or acquaintances who've already achieved what you're after. Maybe you've got a friend who's just completed a triathlon, and you're thinking, "Sweet as, I can do that too!" Plant that seed, and with a bit of dedication and hard work, you'll be on your way to achieving your goal.
Now, let's talk about finding support. Having a crew of like-minded mates who are working towards the same goal is a game-changer. You'll motivate each other, share tips and advice, and push each other to be your best. If you don’t have a support crew already, joining a sports club or park run can help you meet like-minded people. If you need a bit of extra guidance, that's where I come in. As your coach, I'll help you develop a training plan, provide support and encouragement, and get you ready to crush your event.
